I have a cat, who loves the outdoors, if she has access to be outside she won't even use the letterbox indoors except for in emergencies. However I currently am living with a family member who has a cat-blood thirsty pit bull, so My cat is unable to go outside for her own safety.
However, when we walk our dog, who loves the cat, the cat will walk with us, no leash needed, she will just walk right along side us, it is very nice!

I've had cats going on fifty years now, and I've never once managed to get one to walk on a leash. Every time I try, I wind up with the cat tangled up in the leash, and with me bleeding from various wounds...
